About Cultural Fire

Cultural Fire is a community-driven youth talent discovery program designed to identify, develop, and showcase young talent across local communities.

Launched to create opportunities for every individual, Cultural Fire provides a structured platform where even children can safely express their talents in areas such as singing, dancing, poetry/speech, acting, comedy, instrumental, and any other cultural performance.

Our Mission

To empower individuals by giving them a stage to be seen, heard, and celebrated— while building confidence, creativity, and community pride.

How It Works

Individuals register on the Cultural Fire platform and submit a short video showcasing their talent. Submissions are reviewed, and selected participants are invited to perform in a live community showcase event.

Live events are professionally organised and hosted in local venues, bringing together families, schools, and community members for an unforgettable experience.

Platform Features

• Live Talent Showcases: Perform locally and get scored by expert judges in real-time.
• Pageants: A new style of comprehensive events where contestants are evaluated across multiple segments (Ramp Walk, Formal Wear, Talent, Q&A) to crown the ultimate winner.
• Master of Ceremonies (MC): Not just for contestants—talented hosts can participate as MCs and get scored by judges to compete for the "Best MC" award!
• Private Shows: Want an exclusive environment? Create your own Private Show, invite friends and family as members, and let them experience and vote on your performances in a closed, safe setting.

Community First

Cultural Fire is built on community involvement. Parents, educators, and local supporters play an active role through volunteering, mentoring, and supporting events.

Furthermore, contestants participating in live shows may be required to engage in community-based projects. For example, they may organize or participate in initiatives to raise funds for charitable organizations such as the SPCA or cancer research foundations. This helps instill a sense of civic responsibility and community service in our participants.

The CFI Wallet & Token System

To make participating, supporting, and engaging with the platform seamless, we operate on a secure token system. When you first register for Cultural Fire, you instantly receive an initial bundle of 200 Tokens credited directly to your CFI Wallet.

Tokens serve as the internal currency of Cultural Fire—they can be used to vote for your favorite performers, sponsor segments, or unlock additional platform features. If you need more, you can easily purchase a Wallet Top-Up through our transparent, parity-priced payment gateway.

Safety and Trust

We prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all participants. All learner participation requires verified parental consent, and all content is managed responsibly.

AI Content Moderation: Please be aware that Cultural Fire is strictly a family-friendly platform and NOT an adult site. To ensure a safe environment, all uploaded videos are automatically scanned by our advanced AI moderation system. Any content identified as adult, explicit, or inappropriate will be immediately rejected and not allowed on the platform.

"Flag Video" Feature: Even during a show, our community helps keep the platform safe. If you encounter any inappropriate content while watching a show, you can click the Flag Video button below the player. If a video receives 3 flags from different users, it is automatically banned and removed from the showcase.

Sponsorship and Partnerships

We work with local businesses and organisations to support youth development while offering meaningful brand exposure within the community.

Additionally, if you are a community member on a fixed income—such as a pensioner on a small grant who would love to attend a live show—you can receive a sponsored voucher of tokens from a sponsor. For example, if a live show ticket costs 50 ZAR (or equivalent tokens), a sponsor can gift you a voucher so you can order your ticket directly on the app and enjoy the performances!
